Hor s backlist SUMMARY Patience Creighton has devoted her life to running her ather s boarding school But when the enigmatic master of the estate appears at her door battered and unconscious the young headmistress suddenly Red November finds her livelihood and her heart in the hands of one dangerouslyhandsome gentleman REVIEW This story continues the saga of the Creighton and Sterlingamilies of Darby England The Beowulf is my name (Rinehart editions, 146) first storyeatured brother Graham and this one continues the tale with brother William I really liked the characters of William and Patience Both of them become stronger and resiliant as they deal with their past choices and learn to make better ones The also ind out that God brings good things to those who wait The author weaves in some mini sub plots that also make the story line complex and interesting I can see several threads that could be continued in uture books the A Gentleman for Dry Creek (Dry Creek, future of Cassandra Rawdon and Lydia and the boys school FAVORITE UOTES But if I act in anger if I let myself stay in that place I am only hurting myselfGod tells us toorgive when we are wronged Even if it is difficult If I choose to be angry if I choose to not Trail of Evidence (Capitol K-9 Unit forgive him then I am in disobedience God allowed this to happen I do not comprehend why but He will not leave me here This is part of His planor my life If I stay here if I stay angry then I might miss the plan that He has Architecture by Birds and Insects for me 45This was a very enjoyable read The characters where easy to love and the setting on the wintry moors made my toes ache just thinking about how cold it would have been This was slower paced than theirst book and read like a comfort read Beyond Carnival for me I drank a lot of coffee and tea with this book Sarah Ladd also wrote wonderful themes about trusting the will of God in your life and letting go of anger before it consumes and ruins your life I must admit I even became misty eyed at the end Well done The second book in the Whispers On The Moors series The Headmistress of Rosemere has totally blown my socks off and made me spill my tea I haven t had much reading time in the pastew days but when I did I totally consumed this book Only a book lover would understand What is not to understand about the excellence of this book though There is a carry over Microsociology from theirst book of things William Sterling is almost a totally different person in this second book than he was in the Lefty first Maturity will do thator you I won t go into detail or anybody having not read this yet but shockbetrayal and doing what is right with William s responsibilities are involved here I can t wait t read the next and last book in the series but I can t yet due to I need to read and review other books irst Ah what a problem it is to have too many wonderful books to rea. 25 starsI really enjoyed the beginning and the middle But the end just didn t sit well with me view spoilerSo he has a child with Isabella his old Silence in Hanover Close (Charlotte Thomas Pitt, flame out of marriage She takes off to marry another man that she had loved before He kicks her out when heinds out it isn t his child born 5 months after they were married So William is trying to deal with his past which is totally ok but when Patience The Complete Idiots Guide to Starting a Web-Based Business finds out that Emma is his daughter she doesn t even blink an eyelash I m sorry but if Iound out the guy I was in love with had a child with someone without being married I d at least step back and have to think about things I know people can repent but he didn t seem repentant at all Especially when the author was throwing in Christian elements here and there hide spoiler To me this second book of this series was interesting than the Tiểu phẩm báo chí first one There was a progressive development of the characters and setting Both William and Patience place theiraith in God regarding their Icon futures and receive a miracle that they never believed they would Basically I expected to be wowed and I was not wowedI should have knownrom having read The Heiress of Winterwood tha I have to say I enjoyed this one It wouldn t rate among my Pillow Talk favorite historical romances but it was just different and entertaining enough to make it stand out to me There are aew things that were a little hard to believe but mostly it was a Rikers High fun readI really liked the heroine and hero The hero is a bit differentrom the normal debauched hero in that he s trying to reform himself before he meets the heroine You see him struggling to get his life together before and while he s Buried falling in love with the heroine rather than his transformation being because of her And the heroine s struggle to be the headmistress of the school while dealing withamily difficulties and such was really endearing and heartbreakingI think my only real complaint is that I wanted I wanted a bit romance between the pair and of the side stories which isn t something I say normally I was left with these massive uestions about the side characters that I hoped would be addressed in other books in the series though it looks like the other books don t really have much to do with each other It wasn t in a way that made me eel like the story was lacking but it just left me wanting and I wish I d gotten some of itSo this was a un read and different Wolfsbane (Nightshade from the majority of historical romances Definitely worth picking up and I ll be checking out her other books Lovely Regency romance novel Iinished this book last night pleasantly surprised that I had not been able to predict the ending after all When I read the Leading By Design first page I thought I knew how things would play out but Sarah Patience Creighton willinally Kanata find the peace she lost years ago if she can open her heart andorgive the man who loves herBright sensible Patience knows what is expected of her At twenty First Impressions five her opportunityor a Quicksand family of her own has passed so sheinds contentment teaching at her Arctic Labyrinth father's schoolor girls When her ather dies suddenly and her brother moves away to London
