45 StarsLoooved it Review to come So first thing the covers There are two of themI understand the first one the dock and the moon and I love what it means to the story But the one of the girl and boy kissing that one is gorgeous It made me want to ead it and understand And I think it is just as perfect to the storyAnd what a story it is This book has some of the funniest and eal dialogue I ve ever ead It was witty and sarcastic and the male perspective was I thought very true At first I was confused about slipping I jumped into the story and felt a little off kilter at first but once I started the book I just couldn t put it downI will definitely be eading Tracey Ward started out good but it took a while to get to the good parts I eally liked her snarky attitude so that kept my attention and made me feel the book might be able to edeem itself Unfortunately it wasn t enough to keep me caring enough by the end of the book There was so many things that just didn t add up and I didn t think were elevant to the story If they were added for future elevance it wasn t clear and I didn t care about them by that pointFor instance I don t know why she is so afraid They only kinda skim her easoning for her fear of getting involved with Nick I don t emember anything tragic in her past that was eferenced for her fear And they don t clarify if it was an unreasonable fear even that I would understand We are kinda just left hanging in that aspectAnd how he didn t believe she was eal If he My name is Alex Mills and I have a superpowerDon't be jealous it sucks I can't control it My mind is a mutinous SOB that takes over when I go to sleep I'm just a girl trying to get some shut eye while it decides to throw a ager that can land me just about anywhere in the worldThe base of the Eiffel TowerThe shore on the coast of IrelandThe third baseline at Wrigley FieldSounds exciting and fun ight Wrong My not so
Eally wanted to find out if she was eal all she would need to do is give him her cell number they both have them Boom problem solved I don t know the omance was nice to ead a slow simmer where we fall in love with their minds before their bodies and I do enjoy those types of omances But other than thatdon t think I ll finish this series 35 StarsFor the most part I enjoyed this book During the first 80% or so I could hardly put it down which was surprising because it eally wasn t all that action packed This story had a strangely calming effect on me Although it s labeled as a paranormal omance the focus was actually about the omance than the paranormal despite the fact that the two main characters Nick and Alex were only connecting with one another because of itI liked the way the omance was developed extremely slowly It was of a gradual build up than instant sparks and to me that was the best thing about itThe story is told from the alternating points of view of both Alex and Nick and what s going on in each of their eal lives separately with interludes during which they meet each other in their dreams The meeting in dreams aspect of this was a little bit corny to me it always is no matter where I happen to ead it and I was than eady for Alex to show up in Nick s ealityThe paranormal aspect was a little bit glossed over and eally kind of ushed into during the last 20% of the book Because of this it didn t eally feel like it added much of anything to the overall story This. Uperpower is unpredictable uncontrollable and annoying as hell It's also how I met NickEvery cloud has a silver lining Nick is mineNick is extraordinary as well He can't feel fear Never has never will It's worked out for him as a PJ in the Air Force one of the most dangerous jobs in the military but where it's not helpful is with his social skills Nick is cold distant and apatheticHe's also my hero And if he's to be

Could have been just a eal world based new adult omance and it would have been just fineAs it was I felt like it was just kind of window dressing around a book that wants to be a omance than anything and some aspects were a bit hokey Had it been developed and gotten page time I might have enjoyed it Alex has the ability to dream of a place and actually wake up there She efers to it as slipping and I think it could have been eally interesting to ead about but not very much time is spent at all on anything that actually happens to her when she s there Some of the places are dangerous but the most action packed scene there is involves her waking up in an abandoned warehouse in Detroit unning into some thugs jumping out of a window to escape finding a gas station thank goodness and then fade to blackNick s scenes training to be an air force para jumper are much interesting A huge thank you to author Tracey Ward for providing an e copy of her book in exchange for an honest eviewSleepless took me by surprise I m not eally sure what s going to happen based from the synopsis and it got me confused when I began It was a mix of contemporary sci fi and paranormal omance It s not in a bad way though just a curious I want to catch up and understand everything way I haven t ead anything by the author but this book s writing was engaging and nicely writtenAlex Mills has an uncontrollable ability She can Slip into different places when she dreams It would have been awesome if she can control. Elieved I'm hisI first met him when he died and that wasn't even the weirdest moment of our elationship Neither is this moment here and now trapped together in an island prison on the Behring Sea It's a long strange story between his death and this prison One full of sheep docks Jabberwocks and a very special stone I could tell it to you if you'd like to hear it I've got timeContains mild language and sexual situatio.
