Ip soon and my mom thought it Short Stories by Roald Dahl d be fun for my 25 year old to have a textbook of her own Mountain Rose Herbs out of Oregon recommends this book so I knew it must be a good one It came yesterday so I ve barely begun to see what s inside but everything I ve seen so far makes me just giddy She may be a wee bit young to truly get everything out of it but I anticipate she ll grow to love it over time She s already very awareinto herbs and tinctures and medicines galore so the vocabulary is there And I think as long as you re actively involving your little one in the world of herbs from the start they could certainly appreciate this book at a very young age It has so many activities and recipes a It is a great herbal book for children as far as medicinal herbalism goes Theescription makes it sound much Pagan influenced than it actually is there isn t really anything here about the esoteric or magical correspondences of the herbs Since my Goldilocks the Three Bears daughter has been begging to go to witch school I was hoping to indulge her fascination with medicinal and magical herbalism but while I have other resources for the latter they are not geared toward children like this one Oh well.
